-a storm clearing over Maple Lake IdahoTrek 2002.

Every summer a lucky group of Iowa high school students gets the chance to embark on a life-changing journey. IdahoTrek. It's called a watershed experience, and it will do just that. Trekkers that take part in this trip will learn to examine themselves and their world differently. You'll work and play hard in the beautiful Bitterroot-Selway Wilderness Area. The only requirements are being an Iowa high school student, and willing to learn about how you, and those around you fit into this earth of ours. Are you ready to take the plunge and have a great time? If so, explore this site and then get on board!

Don't forget to make use of the forums everyone. New trekkers, get your questions answered, and talk about the trip with the veterans. And veterans, this can be a great tool to get back in touch with old friends.

News:

Hi everyone, welcome to idahotrek.org! This is only the "pilot site" if you will. That's why the address includes this prohosting thing instead of just www.IdahoTrek.org. This is also why there is an add banner at the top. If this site proves to be useful, I can pay a small fee to change the address and get rid of the add banners. Let me know what you think! Any suggestions, quotes, gripes, broken links, or anything else that you like or dislike about the site would be extremely helpful to know. Just drop me a line at jamesw@iastate.edu
